Riaty Raffiudin, Ph.D

Riaty Raffiudin is a lecturer in Department of Political Science Universitas Indonesia. She is also a researcher in Center for Political Studies Universitas Indonesia. She is in the final stages of his PhD in political economy at Victoria University, Australia. She has started her teaching career in Universitas Indonesia since 1987. She undertook her MA in political science at Ohio University, USA in 1996. She was Secretary of Graduate Program of Department of Political Science Universitas Indonesia in 1997-2001 and simultaneously from 1997 to 1999 she was also Secretary of Undergraduate Program of Department of Political Science Universitas Indonesia

Research interests

  • Political economy (state-business relations in developing countries and in Indonesia in particular),
  • Comparative politics,
  • Industries in Indonesia (especially palm oil and electronics industries in Indonesia)
