Irwansyah, S.IP, M.A

Irwansyah is a lecturer in Department of Political Science Universitas Indonesia as well as a researcher in Center for Political Studies Universitas Indonesia. He is recently on study leave to pursue his PhD in politics at Murdoch University, Australia. During 2006-2007, he worked as a program manager in Indonesian Community for Democracy, a NGO that promoting multiparty democracy to be sustainable in Indonesian politics. Previously, he joined the Institute for Policy Research and Advocacy (ELSAM) as a researcher for “Preliminary Report on Possible Human Right Violation on Military Operation Zone in Aceh (1989-2003)”. He completed his MA in Development Studies from Institute of Social Science, the Netherlands.
